Melbourne Cafés: The Chokolait Hub

Melbourne is often referred to as Australia's chocolate capital, and you'll understand why when you discover the many luxurious chocolate stores spread throughout the city. To put it short: if you love chocolate you can't visit the place without trying some of their delicious sweets.

There are of course also various cafés that specialize in chocolate drinks and snacks. The most famous one among them is the Chokolait Hub located in the Hub Arcade (See map below).

After having heard about the award  winning place we decided to give it a try. The place wasn't too hard to find, but the first day when we went there they had already closed for the day (opening hours turned out to be 10:00-18:00). Still, as the cafe is centrally located it wasn't hard to take another trip there the next day.

In addition to a wide range of chocolate drinks they also serve chocolate cakes, fondues, chocolate gifts and you name it. This is definitely also a place to go for gift packages to bring home to friends.

Chocolate gifts

While sitting at the table a local lady in the corner greeted us and told us that the Chokolait Hub had the best chocolate drinks in the city. Apparently she was one of their frequent customers, and used to come there quite often.

The chocolate drinks were definitely rich in taste and well worth the money spent. But I'm afraid that after the delicious chocolate drinks at the Chokolait Hub it'll be a great disappointment to go back to regular chocolate again..
