Vikingess Voyages: Maldives Island Resorts: Ellaidhoo by Cinnamon Superior Room

During our stay at Ellaidhoo by Cinnamon we had the chance to try out two types of guest rooms; the Water Bungalow (which I have written about here) and the Superior Room. Ellaidhoo has a total of 112 guest rooms, and 28 of these rooms are Superior Rooms. The Superior Rooms are situated on the south east side of the island a short walk away from Madi Restaurant and the Tree Bar. The rooms can host 2-4 people, so it is an ideal alternative for families, small groups travelling together or simply couples who prefer to have a room with a lot of space.

From the entrance we could see the beach, which was only a few steps away. A very idyllic setting for our stay, and apparently we had one of the Superior Rooms with the best location as well.

Restaurant
For guests staying at one of the Superior Rooms dinner will be served in the Madi restaurant. This large dinner hall has the biggest selection of food on the island, and with food ranging from Asian to Western style you are guaranteed to find something delicious that can satisfy your tastebuds. Since there are many families staying in the rooms connected to the restaurants it is also a good environment for those who are traveling with kids.
